Books can help us understand one another.

Books can help us build bridges instead of walls.

Books can help us learn about our history and the history of others.

But books can only help us understand, build and learn if we are reading stories about people and things that we aren’t familiar with.

Minority Book Report is a resource for those hoping to learn more about other cultures living in contemporary America and the experiences that shape their lives. We focus on identifying books about minority experiences in the US and helping others find and enjoy literature they might not read otherwise by providing short cultural reports on things you might learn by reading a book.

If you would like to recommend a book or submit a book report on a book please use the form here or  email HBR@minoritybookreport.com
